Douglas Michigan Root Beer Barrel === The Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society has taken on the challenge of "Saving the Root Beer Barrel" on Center Street. The barrel will be taken down, refurbished, moved, and reassembled somewhere in this area. We welcome your memories as a part of gathering the history of this important local icon.
